NEWS AND VIEWS - OCTOBER 2020
WRITING NEWS
No big news this month. I'm still working on The Brassfire Fleet, the nautical-themed sequel to The Demon in the Metal; I've got it up to 65,000 words now. I'll probably have it done by the end of the year, but I don't think I'll be releasing it right away -- in fact I might not release it at all. It's a sequel to a book literally nobody has read -- eight months after its release, I still have no evidence that anyone, anywhere in the world, has actually read The Demon in the Metal to completion (it still doesn't have a single Amazon review or Goodreads rating). It just doesn't seem worth it to spend hundreds of dollars (editing and cover art can get pretty expensive) getting a book like this out to print, especially with my financial situation being kind of shaky at the moment.
So I don't know what I'm going to do with it yet.

WHAT I'M WATCHING
I've been on kind of a Korean kick lately; I'm currently in the middle of three Korean dramas: Backstreet Rookie, When the Camellia Blooms, and She Was Pretty. Of these, I'm probably enjoying Backstreet Rookie the most; it's a cute, engaging little romantic comedy with a leading lady (Kim Yoo-jung) who is very easy on the eyes. Recommended!

LONDON AFTER MIDNIGHT
Some Halloween fun. I really, really hope someone finds a copy of this film someday.
