NEWS AND VIEWS - SEPTEMBER 2025
Not a very productive month, writing-wise. Houseguests, home repairs, computer problems (I had two monitors go bad), and the usual insomnia made it hard for me to focus on the writing, although I did add a few chapters to Hardcore and I did finish a new Signalverse short, called "The Ghosts of F.A.N.G." (which you can find on my Patreon). This one takes place in 1967, and follows the adventures of the Silver Shot, a detective-hero who is trying to unravel an old World War II mystery.
Anyway, I'm hoping to get back into the swing of things in October, with a few more chapters of Hardcore. Like Lillandra, this story doesn't seem to be attracting much attention over at Royal Road (where it's being serialized), but whatever; it's a fun story and it's easy to write.
I'm making progress on getting Signal Solutions ready for publication; it should be available on Amazon in October.
I'm also thinking about deleting my Substack account. I'm posting the same stuff there that I post to my Patreon and my website, and I never get any visitors there anyway, so there doesn't seem to be much point in keeping it up.
But that's all I've got this month, as far as news. Thanks for your support!
