NEWS AND VIEWS - JANUARY 2026
Not a lot of news this month. I've been plugging away at Hardcore (which is now approaching 100,000 words), and I'm still working on some Signalverse shorts, but that's pretty much all I've got to report, writing-wise. Looking ahead...well, the plan is to finish Hardcore by the end of April (although that may be optimistic) and to start writing a new Signalverse novel in May, while continuing to work on these short stories. I'm hoping to release at least one new short story ("War Stories") in February. The new Signalverse novel, as I mentioned a couple weeks ago in that Signalverse FAQ, is set to take place in outer space; the working title is Masters of a Million Stars, which I'm not sure I'll stick with. But it's fine for now. And that's it for January. |
